Why do I have to answer a security question when logging on to @ccessOnline?
As security enhancements continue to be an ongoing focus and priority for CCFCU, we have introduced the Second Authentication process for online account access. In addition to providing the account number and password, users will occasionally be prompted to provide the answer to a challenge question before they can proceed to @ccessOnline.
Will the security question be displayed every time I log on to @ccessOnline?
No, the security question may be presented to @ccessOnline users often, from time to time or at random.
How many chances do I get to answer the security question?
You have two (2) chances to provide correct answers, or one chance to click the Don’t Remember button. If you fail to answer the questions after two attempts, or click Don’t Remember twice, your account will be restricted from online access.
What do I do if I don’t remember my answers or provide the incorrect answers to the security questions and I get locked of @ccessOnline?
Simply click on the “New User or Forgot Password?” link on the @ccessOnline log on page to reset security answers.
Can I opt out setting up security questions?
No, for your account security, this is a requirement to access @ccessOnline.
What is a strong password?
Strong passwords are at least seven characters in length, are numbers and letters, case sensitive, and use at least one special character (ex. !@#$%&)
Are there any risks in using a public computer to access my Credit Union account?
Yes, there is a risk because public computers may be infected with viruses and/or malicious software, such as Trojans and keyloggers, that can be used to obtain your account login information.
